Title: VP, Associate Creative Director, Art
Location: New York, NY
Department/Discipline: Art
Overview: The VP, Associate Creative Director, Art is responsible for ensuring that all Agency work is on strategy and meets or exceeds the highest level of creative accomplishment. He/she contributes to growing the Clients' business. They act as the Creative Director’s right hand and can step in to fulfill these functions when necessary. The VP, Associate Creative Director/Copy also acts an advocate for the agency. They help to identify and recruit new talent as well as provides leadership and guidance within their department.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Creative Director’s (CD) “right hand.” Demonstrate ability to take over the CD’s functions when necessary
- Demonstrate leadership qualities as evident by ability to motivate team, facilitate great thinking, and keep the morale high
- Proactively seek opportunities for improvements in the department and offer executable solutions
- Keep Creative Director(s) briefed on creative projects in a timely manner
- Establish credibility with Clients at all levels by developing knowledge of Client’s business, both the brand itself and people involved (i.e. internal client structure, individual responsibilities, and interaction between groups/individuals with respect to their impact on client jobs
- Manage outside vendor/resources effectively from both cost and creative standpoints, including photographers, illustrators, and production vendors for premiums and printing
- Keep abreast of current advertising, design, and other visual communications
- Continuously explore cutting-edge, current, and unique design styles and imagery
- Demonstrate the ability to work in various forms of media including a working knowledge of the print production process
- Contribute to new business efforts creatively, as a reliable steward of the work, and presenting the work in the new business effort
- In person client travel is required
- Act as a brand steward maintaining the integrity and excellence of the brand in all materials developed
- Consistently provide fresh, unique, and strategic thinking for all brand marketing/advertising initiatives
- Ensure that Agency work is on strategy and contributes to growing the Client’s business
- Work as a team with copywriters to develop conceptual approaches to meet Client objectives
- Attend photo-shoots; provide necessary on-the-spot feedback to vendors to effectively accomplish agency and client goals
- Acts as gatekeeper to ensure that all final products released demonstrate only the highest quality creative and effectively communicates brand messages to targeted customers
- Be an effective presenter and clearly communicate creative concepts and rationale for design choices to team and clients and/or new business prospects

- Proficiency with Macintosh and the following programs - Quark Express, Adobe Photo Shop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Entourage
- Advertising or design portfolio
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

The Group Account Supervisor will operate on multiple levels, both internally and externally, to strategically manage the brand, agency team and client relationship

Title: Copy Supervisor

Overview:
The Copy Supervisor (CS) is responsible for brainstorming ideas, developing concepts and producing brand specific messaging for print and digital deliverables on assigned brands while overseeing the junior members of the copy team. The Copy Supervisor is a lead member of a cross functional team dedicated to creating work aligned with client’s brand strategy and creative vision.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating comprehensive copy platform for each assigned account.
- Work as a team with art directors to develop conceptual approaches to meet Client objectives.
- Demonstrate sound understanding of marketing.
- Develop and contribute strategic input into marketing/advertising initiatives.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Client’s business.
- Attend regular status meetings.
- Prepare and submit work for Med/Legal and DDMAC approval.
- Demonstrate adequate understanding of market research to create test materials and effectively attend research.
- Attend relevant trade shows and share learning’s with team.
- Develop positive, productive relationships with appropriate members of Client/Agency team.
- Maintain positive relationships with Editorial and Traffic.
- Demonstrate high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills.
- Be aware of, and familiar with, medical and scientific information that pertains to Agency brands.

- Review/edit copy within group to ensure that it is accurate, on strategy and creatively excellent.
- Route all copy to Associate Creative Director or Creative Director for review before it goes to client.
- Function autonomously on a day-to-day basis; but involve supervisor in major decisions.
- In person client travel is required.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience as a copywriter at a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
- Portfolio containing work samples that demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, creative thinking, and exceptional writing skills.
- Strong fact-checking skills and ability to annotate references in accordance with AMA style.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative team.
- Solid understanding of digital communications and media channels preferred.

Title: Account Executive
Location: New York, NY

Overview:
The Account Executive is responsible for creating timelines (in conjunction with the traffic department), managing account estimates and the OOP budget, and establishing time and event schedules. The AE must have excellent communication skills with both clients and internal departments. The AE must be a proactive person who can multi-task, coordinate tactical implementation with the Agency, foster a positive team atmosphere, and be a leader.
Responsibilities:
- Understand creative process, draft creative briefs and provide ideas for improving existing executions
- Develop client estimates based on approved SOW
- Help to manage day-to-day business of the account with responsibility for ensuring that work is done on-time and on-budget
- Responsible for OOP budget:
- Work is completed within budget
- Request revised estimates if revisions affecting cost are requested
- Obtain signed estimates promptly
- Alert Client to financial ramifications of decisions in a timely manner
- Ensure that all billing is done accurately and promptly
- Track OOP billing to ensure that all expenses fall within approved guidelines
- Closes jobs
- Work diligently to meet Client's accounting needs e.g. accrues monies at the end of the calendar year per Client/Agency agreements, etc. vendors (premiums, special services, media buyers, etc.)
- Responsible for ensuring that account is organized and efficient:
- Opening and tracking POs
- Maintaining/circulating accurate and complete Client and Job Lists
- Maintaining competitive binders
- Requesting job numbers
- Attending status meetings
- Develop timetables in conjunction with traffic and production
- Produce accurate and timely status reports/contact reports
- Responsible for competitive overviews/analyses/POVs/monitoring
- Develop agendas for Client meetings
- Manage time effectively, meet deadlines, attention to detail, and set priorities for specific assignments, especially when handling multiple projects
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both Clients and staff
- Work with supervisor to ensure that all materials produced are accurate and represent the agency in a positive light
- Continue to build mastery of marketing/advertising concepts
- Evolve into an effective resource for Agency personnel
Experience:
